He simply revels in each Irish appearance. 22-nd of november was an evening to remember as he never fails to stir the emotions. Something which cannot always be said of the Russian voice. This sound is from the Italian school." — “Russian invade with gala Extravaganza” Declan Hassett Irish Examiner 01-11-2001 "A meaty vocally tenor, he demonstrated what the opera was all about. He has a magnificent voice, and from his first note the audience sat up and listened. He used his voice with great discretion, Delivering a thoughtful, restrained performance but one where it was perfectly. Clear, that there were reserves of great power ready to be called on." — "This Samson brings down the house" Peter Hurch The Australian July 1997 "This is one of the greatest tenor of our century." — M.
