Placido Domingo Operalia World Opera Contest in Paris 2007  Year 2011 in London at
Covent Garden (Royal Opera House) he will sing Lykov roll in
the production "Tsar's Bride" by Rymsky- Korsakov
After participation in the World famous stage director
Jonathan Miller's production of "Traviata" in Norway in September 2004 Dmytro
Popov was immediately engaged by the Oslo Opera to sing Alfredo roll at this
opera house. In May 2006 he sang Des Grieux roll with conductor Keri-Lynn Wilson
at the Ukraine National Oper in Kiev
Future engagements include Don Carlos,
Lensky (Eugeni Onegin), Don Jose at the Norwegian
Opera, Duke (Rigoletto) at the Dalhalla Opera Festival in Sweden,
Pinkerton (Madame Butterfly) at the Lithuanian National Opera in
Vilnius
